A Day in the Life of a Rocky Mountain Canine Guest 🐾

6:45 AM – Rise and Shine!
I woke up to the sound of birds chirping and my tail thumping against my comfy bed. The humans here are super nice and said “Good morning, buddy!” as I stretched and yawned. It’s time to start my dog-cation day!
7:30 AM – Morning Potty & Sniff Patrol
Out the door and into the fresh mountain air! So many smells, so little time. I said hi to my neighbors—everyone’s in a great mood this morning. We do our first potty break and a little fence-line sniff session. It's like reading the morning newspaper.
8:00 AM – Breakfast of Champions
I devoured my breakfast like the good pup I am. The staff followed all my meal instructions (Mom would be proud), and even gave me a few extra pats while I ate.
9:00 AM – Adventure Time!
Leash? Nope. Off-leash! That's right—time to hit the trails! Me and my new besties hiked through trees, splashed in a creek, and raced each other down forest paths. We explored six private trails today—SIX! It's like Disneyland for dogs, but with more mud.
11:00 AM – Cool Down & Toy Time
After trail time, we cooled off in the play yards. There are toys everywhere—balls, ropes, and even a bubble machine (yes, I chased them, don't judge me). Then it was time to chill in the shade and roll in the grass like the majestic beast I am.
1:00 PM – Nap Time
Back to my luxury suite for a well-deserved snooze. It’s heated in the winter, cool in the summer, and smells like lavender and good choices. My blanket smells like home, and I had sweet dreams of bacon and squirrels.
3:00 PM – Enrichment & One-on-One Time
Today I got to do a snuffle mat puzzle and show off my sit-and-shake skills. I also got belly rubs from Ashley and a head kiss from Tyler. This place? 10/10. Would board again.
4:00 PM – Adventure Hike (Round 2!)
Just when I thought the day couldn’t get any better—BOOM—another off-leash hike to the creek! I splashed, sniffed, and pretended I was a wild mountain wolf. This is the life.
6:00 PM – Dinner Time
Delicious, familiar food + extra tail wags from my new favourite humans = perfection. I even got a little treat for being such a good boy today (obviously).
8:00 PM – Movie Time with Tyler & Ashley
We wind down with cozy blankets, ear scratches, and a dog-friendly flick. Tyler lets me choose the movie. (I chose Homeward Bound, obviously.) Best. Night. Ever.
9:00 PM – Lights Out, Sweet Dreams
One last potty break, then back to my cozy suite. The humans told me my family will get an update and some photos tonight. I miss them—but I also kinda love it here. ❤️
