Meet Tyler

Tyler has always believed there's no such thing as a bad dog. His passion is canine welfare and rehabilitation: helping dogs other people have given up on, and giving every dog the structure, exercise, and understanding it needs to become calm and confident.

That passion is what took him from caring for dogs to training them. Today he works one-on-one with every dog, whether that means a 21-day board & train, private lessons with its family, or earning off-leash freedom on the trails.

In February 2025, Tyler moved to Yahk and started turning an old horse property into the place he'd always pictured: 30 acres where dogs can run free, breathe mountain air, hike, splash in the creek, and simply be dogs. He lives on site, so your dog is never left alone, and he treats every guest like one of his own pack.

What people are saying

From families who've been here

Real words from the people whose dogs train and stay with Tyler.

After trying multiple trainers and feeling like we were out of options, we came in discouraged and unsure real change was even possible. From the start, Tyler made us feel heard and understood. We have also never felt more comfortable leaving our dog at a boarding facility.
Jen S.Training & boarding
Our 9 year old husky, Silas, went for board and train for 2 weeks. He knew nothing except sit and shake a paw. Tyler focused mostly on recall and off leash training, as well as place and various other things. I can confidently say that I trust Silas off leash now, and he is so much happier for it! Both our dogs love going for boarding as well.
Alexis C.Board & train
Our two year old bordoodle recently spent a few days with them while I had surgery in another city. Every day I was sent photos and video of our beautiful girl living her best life. It made me feel completely at ease and focus on my recovery. Their rooms are lovingly designed for your dog's comfort to feel most at home. Our girl is booked for another adventure next summer.
